Who we are
This policy applies to Aēstec Dubai (“Aēstec”, “we”, “us”) and to this website. For any question about your information you can reach us at info@aestec.ae or on 04 355 3851.
The information we collect
When you contact us, request a consultation, register your interest in a treatment or apply for a position, we collect the details you give us: your name, email address, phone number, preferred time, and anything you choose to write in your message.
When you become a patient, we also keep a medical record. This includes your medical history, the findings of your consultation, ultrasound images, clinical photographs, the treatments you receive and the products used.
When you browse this website, basic technical information is processed so that the pages can be delivered to you, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you open.
How we use it
We use your information to answer your enquiry, to plan and carry out your consultation and treatment, to provide aftercare, to keep the medical records we are required to keep, and to run and secure this website. We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising without your consent.
Health information and photographs
Health information is handled only by the doctors and clinic staff involved in your care, in line with the patient confidentiality rules that apply to healthcare providers in Dubai. Clinical photographs and before-and-after images are never published or shared without your separate, written consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Who we share it with
We share information only where it is needed: with the doctors treating you, with service providers who host this website and deliver our email and forms on our instructions, and with regulators or authorities where the law requires it. Where a visiting specialist from our Amsterdam practice is involved in your treatment, the relevant parts of your record are shared with that specialist.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a consultation are deleted once they are no longer needed. Medical records are kept for the period required by the health regulations that apply to our clinic.
Your rights
You may ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. You may also withdraw a consent you have given. Write to info@aestec.ae and we will respond as soon as we reasonably can.
